Dover Foxcroft Area Food Cupboard

The Dover Foxcroft Area Food Cupboard (DFAFC) is located in Dover Foxcroft and serves individuals living there as well as the towns of Sebec, Atkinson, Charleston, and Sangerville. 

The DFAFC is an all volunteer agency. We have a base of more than 25 active volunteers in addition to an all-volunteer Board of Directors (BOD) and an experienced Operations Manager (OM).

The organization provides access to food for individuals and families unable to meet their basic needs and provides linkages to area services and resources. Individuals and families living outside the service area and experiencing a crisis or barriers to accessing resources in their community are served as well. Individuals and families are invited to participate in bi-monthly distributions and to contact the Operations Manager if an emergency arises.

The distribution process is designed to allow clients to have a shopping experience that allows them to select food their families will use and pass on items they don’t need, or that doesn’t meet their specific dietary needs.
