Volunteer: Show Off Your Computer Knowldge

We are a small non-profit ( one and half-staff ) that does a great job helping people with cancer in Washington and Hancock Counties but are technologically challenged and could use the help of people with technology know- how to help us. If you can help with one or more of the following things or you are a business who could spare a small amount of employee expertise, you will make our work easier and give us more time to concentrate on the people we serve. In many cases it’s just a matter of teaching us how or showing us how to fix glitches. Examples of the kinds of things we need help with are: Setting up Mail Chimp, networking computers, removing duplicate files, transferring information from an old computer email system, assisting with address book issues, moving some group lists from one computer to another, redoing our Links page on our website- removing and adding links, Facebook knowledge – we can’t seem to change some pictures, find easier ways to share information with our database, advice on software to meet our needs, adjustments to an access database, figuring out the transfer system on our phones.

Organization: Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center
