Volunteer: Do you love fresh vegetables?Help provide fresh vegetables to our neighbors who are unable to afford them. The Maine Sea Coast Mission Downeast Campus in Cherryfield has an organic garden, raised beds, and a year round greenhouse that supply the Mission Food Pantry and the Downeast Table of Plenty with fresh produce each week. They are managed by volunteers who help water, weed, transplant seedlings and harvest the crop. We can use help with all of these garden chores.

Here's a description for "Johnny Apple Seed Day": Did you know Johnny Appleseed was a real person? Hear his story and celebrate amazing apples with us. Try fresh pressed apple juice, make apple seed necklaces, print with apples and take the taste test challenge for different apple varieties!
