Who We Are
The Dempsey Center provides free cancer support services to anyone impacted by cancer.
The Dempsey Challenge is an annual run, walk and cycle fundraising experience in Lewiston, Maine, and the primary fundraiser for the Dempsey Center. The 2017 Dempsey Challenge will take place October 7 & 8 in Simard-Payne Park, Lewiston, Maine.
What We Do
The Dempsey Center provides free support and education to anyone impacted by cancer. Services include oncology massage, counseling, yoga and other fitness classes, nutrition consults, lending library, resource navigation, dedicated youth and family services, and much more. All of our services are available at no cost regardless of where treatment is received, and, are available to not only the person with the diagnosis but also caregivers, families and loved ones. We also offer prevention outreach and education to businesses and schools throughout Maine.
