Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program

Who We Are

Our mission is to provide hungry people with access to healthy food, work to improve the quality of their lives by partnering with others, and serve them in a manner that recognizes their dignity.

What We Do

MCHPP has several programs to feed neighbors in need, in a comprehensive way. Volunteers keep all of these important services running, and we are always looking for new volunteers to donate their time and talents! Over 1,200 volunteers helped out in the 2015-16 fiscal year, and we couldn't have opened our doors without all their generous contributions.

Please go to mchpp.org to learn about our programs, and to mchpp.org/volunteer to apply!

NOTE: COURT MANDATED VOLUNTEERS, as of 5/12/16: Due to construction on our building expansion, we don't currently have the capacity to take on court mandated volunteers. Unfortunately the time it takes to account for and verify the hours is outside the scope of what we can handle for the next few months. We apologize for the inconvenience and wish you the best!
